Warsaw

My first tourist visit to the capital. Admittedly it was a one-day visit, so it’s hard for me to comment on Warsaw’s charms, but we did see some things. Our walks began in the city centre, because that was what I most wanted to see. Later we went to see the famous Łazienki Park and Wilanów Palace.

Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland, located in the central part of the country on the Vistula River. The city combines a rich history, culture, and modernity. Here is a short description of Warsaw:

Warsaw is a city with a fascinating past that includes the Royal Castle, the historic Old Town (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and numerous museums and monuments that recall Poland’s history.
