Duntulm Castle is a ruined castle located on the northern coast of the Trotternish peninsula on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The castle was once the seat of Clan MacDonald and played a strategic role in Scotland's history.

The castle probably dates from the 14th–15th century, and in the 17th century it was the seat of the chief of Clan MacDonald. In the 17th century the castle was rebuilt by Hugh MacDonald, who constructed new wings and fortifications. The castle was an important site in Scotland's history and was repeatedly attacked by enemy forces.

By the 18th century the castle was already in poor condition and was abandoned by its owners. In the 19th century the castle ruins became a popular spot for artists and tourists, who admired its picturesque location by the sea.

Today Duntulm Castle is one of the most important historic sites on the Isle of Skye. Despite its ruined state, the castle attracts visitors from around the world with its rich history and beautiful setting. The castle is open to visitors and offers lovely views of the surrounding landscape of the Isle of Skye.
